When the Martins Ferry City Schools are operating on a 2 hour delay, drop-off time for students begins at 9:35 a.m. When school is operating under normal hours, 7:35 a.m. is the earliest that students may be dropped off at the school. When the district is on a 2 hour delay, that applies to the staff as well. Please, for the safety of your children, do not drop them off at the school before the above-mentioned times. Just a reminder if you want to drop your child off, please do so at the designated drop-off area outside of the gymnasium door. If you wish to escort your child into the building, please park in the lot and escort them into the building. We ask that you do not drop any child off in the parking lot to walk across the bus lane unaccompanied by an adult.

Please note that when we are operating on a 2 hour delay, breakfast IS NOT served. Our lunch periods begin within 30 minutes of students going to class on 2 hour delay days. We will be utilizing Blizzard Bags again this year. We are not required to complete Blizzard Bags until AFTER the 5th cancelled day of school. If we approach the 5th day of school being closed, we will send a letter home in regards to the Blizzard Bags, and where you can locate them on our website.
