Students’ health must be assessed each day prior to coming to school. If students are exhibiting any of the following symptoms of COVID-19, or have in the previous 24 hours, they should stay home and not return to school until they are symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medications.

If a student is sent home from school with the following symptoms, they should not return until symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medications unless alternate instruction is provided.

  • Fever of 100.4 degrees of higher
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Students experiencing COVID-19 symptoms at school will be moved to a separate area. Parents will be contacted and the child must be picked up promptly.
